Adina Dar, Director Communications and EcoTherapy
Adina joined IFI-CIC in 2003 to realize a dream of founding an EcoTherapy Center for at-risk children and youth. With formative agricultural experience in cattle ranching, equine breeding, animal care & training, Adina studied psychology, sociology and social deviation at the Jerusalem College in Israel.
In 2002, after five years in the Israeli Hotel and Hi-Tec industries, Adina volunteered for one year on Israeli Kibbutz Kalia in the Dead Sea region as a therapeutic riding instructor and curator of the regional petting zoo. Her work with several groups of children received high commendations from the Megillot Regional Council in Israel. Adina joined forces with IFI-CIC to initiate a similar venture in the USA and now heads the IFI-CIC EcoTherapy Project for at-risk children & youth. She also serves as IFI-CIC Director of Communications, overseeing marketing, fundraising and public affairs.
